Requirements
- Excellent writing and editing skills, able to produce clear, concise, and accurate copy under strict deadlines and in line with house style
- Experience writing in a range of formats including breaking news, features, longform, interviews, op-eds, and analysis
- Confident creating, uploading, and optimising content for digital platforms, with hands-on experience of content management systems
- Committed to researching and fact-checking stories with an eye for adding to and expanding upon press releases
- Practiced in reaching out to sources for comment both on and off the record
- Comfortable collaborating with multimedia teams to deliver innovative and engaging news formats
- Strong leadership qualities, with experience chairing editorial meetings and shaping daily or weekly coverage
- Proven interviewing skills across multiple platforms and audiences, including web, print, and video
- Professional and confident representing a brand at industry events and liaising with stakeholders
- Participate in industry conferences with a willingness to have a deeper involvement as a speaker and take advantage of networking opportunities
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to ensure content is fully optimised
