About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule patient appointments for financial assistance.
- Check-in patients upon arrival and ensure all required documentation is available for processing while covering onsite.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to voicemails, and provide guidance on next steps.
- Assist patients by providing requested documents and materials.
- Meet productivity and quality expectations.
- Utilize multiple systems and databases to gather, track, and report patient information.
- Communicate updates to Eligibility Specialists on scheduling and patient workflow.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Complete special projects, as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- 6 months + of experience in a customer service role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Ability to handle a heavy call volume.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and patient needs.
- Travel: 10%
