💰 $28 - $33 per hour

About the role

  • Code Facility Outpatient accounts - Same Day Surgery, Observation, Ancillary, Woundcare Clinic and/or Pain Management records for acute care facilities.
  • Abstracts clinical data appropriately.
  • Mitigates diagnosis.
  • Tolerates short-term assignments for up to two different clients.
  • Participates in client and Savista meetings and training sessions as instructed by management.
  • Maintains an ongoing current working knowledge of the coding convention in play at client assignments.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • An active AHIMA (American Health Information Association) credential or an active AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) credential
  • Two (2) years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience.
  • Requires active CCS, CCA, CCS-P, COC, CPC, CPC-A, RHIT or RHIA credential.
  • Meditech, Cerner and/or Epic Experience a plus.
