About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides routine patient care in an ambulatory setting
- Able to work as part of a team and perform both clinical and administrative duties
- Manages patient flow and performs patient rooming workflows
- Demonstrates and understands infection control, sterile and aseptic techniques
- Assists medical provider with processing of diagnostic results
- Collect laboratory samples
- Provides patient education only under the direction of medical provider or nurse
- Assists in emergency situations
- Participates in site process improvement teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- MA: High school graduate or equivalent
- CMA: High School graduate or equivalent with graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training program
- LPN: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
