Mental Health Therapist, Clinical Psychologist – Full Time
Sauk Prairie HealthcareMental Health Therapist or Clinical Psychologist delivering mental health services collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibility includes diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based clinical therapy.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Function as an independent healthcare provider within a multidisciplinary team
- Provide diagnostic assessment and treatment for applicable demographic population
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, and related documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the needs of the population served
- Coordinate patient care with various resources
- Conduct individual/family/group counseling utilizing evidence-based practices
- Utilize outcome tools to determine patient progress
- Maintain progress notes and other required electronic documentation
- Provide care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, and SPH policy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling for Mental Health Therapist
- Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in Psychology or a related field for Clinical Psychologist
- Mental Health Therapist: 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment as a Licensed mental health provider
- Mental Health Therapist: 3-5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment as a Licensed mental health provider, including some experience working with students/families in a school-based setting (preferred)
- Clinical Psychologist: 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment as a Licensed mental health provider
- Clinical Psychologist: 3-5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment as a Licensed mental health provider, including some experience working with applicable population (preferred)
- Licenses: Relevant license for Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) and Licensed Psychologist in Wisconsin for Clinical Psychologist
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 3 months of hire for both roles
