About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Function as an independent healthcare provider within a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide diagnostic assessment and treatment for applicable demographic population
  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, and related documentation
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the needs of the population served
  • Coordinate patient care with various resources
  • Conduct individual/family/group counseling utilizing evidence-based practices

  • Maintain progress notes and other required electronic documentation
  • Provide care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, and SPH policy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling for Mental Health Therapist
  • Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in Psychology or a related field for Clinical Psychologist
  • Mental Health Therapist: 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment as a Licensed mental health provider
  • Mental Health Therapist: 3-5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment as a Licensed mental health provider, including some experience working with students/families in a school-based setting (preferred)
  • Clinical Psychologist: 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment as a Licensed mental health provider
  • Clinical Psychologist: 3-5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment as a Licensed mental health provider, including some experience working with applicable population (preferred)
  • Licenses: Relevant license for Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) and Licensed Psychologist in Wisconsin for Clinical Psychologist
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 3 months of hire for both roles
