About the role

  • Deliver high-quality audit services to global clients.
  • Complete complex audit sections with minimal rework
  • Coordinate deliverables across the audit team
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of methodology and standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and engagement teams
  • Lead fieldwork and oversee team deliverables

Requirements

  • ITC / Board 1 Pass (non-negotiable)
  • Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
  • Minimum 4 years’ external audit experience
  • Proven experience auditing blockchain and digital asset clients
  • Experience reviewing and coaching junior team members
  • Skilled in auditing and documenting both basic and complex sections
  • Familiarity with digital asset accounting topics, including:
  • Token issuances
  • Exchange and custodial accounting
  • DeFi, staking, and lending
  • Derivatives accounting
  • Crypto basis tracking
  • Solid understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, including:
  • Smart contracts
  • Block explorers
  • Crypto tracking and accounting software
  • Blockchain analytics and RegTech tools
  • Strong experience in blockchain and digital assets auditing
  • Minimum 2 years leading teams and managing audits end-to-end
  • Ability to plan budgets and resources
  • Proven track record in reviewing and signing off on workpapers
Benefits
  • Should you be successful in your application, you are expected to have access to the internet, and to ensure that the internet connection is uninterrupted and always accessible. This should be, at minimum, a fibre connection with a proven bandwidth of 20mbps upload and 10Mbps download speed, with a latency of no more than 30ms. This connection should be sustainable in the event of power interruptions.
  • Audit experience and alignment to a specific level within SAPRO, shall be determined based on your individual audit exposure, technical interview and evaluation.
  • Generally, we work on a 4 hour overlap with the host firm, however this is client dependent.
