About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintenance and further development of the SAP Basis system landscape
Responsible for planning and implementing projects, including future work in the S/4HANA environment
Responsible for version management as well as various databases and operating systems, including release changes and upgrades
Defining role concepts and assigning authorizations, as well as handling support activities
Responsibility for SAP application operations, including monitoring, incident resolution, backups, and archiving

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration
Good knowledge of SAP ABAP, SAP Java, and the SAP HANA database
Basic experience with Linux environments, as well as with SAP S/4HANA
Knowledge of IBM Power is desirable
