About the role
- Manage and maintain the SAP system landscape, including planning and coordinating updates/upgrades of SAP software
- Monitor system performance and perform performance tuning measures
- Implement and manage security policies and protocols
- Analyze and resolve technical issues and system failures
- Oversee and execute backup and recovery processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
- Collaborate closely with other IT departments and business units to support business processes and projects
- Manage and coordinate hosting service providers
- Provide technical support.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in SAP Basis administration, ideally in a complex corporate environment
- Solid knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, Fiori Launchpad and modern SAP technologies in the SAP HANA environment
- Experience with operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux) and SAP HANA databases
- Knowledge of user and authorization management is desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, team player, and a structured way of working
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
