About the role
- Serve as onshore lead for Workday Professional Services Automation & Financials workstream for assigned accounts
- Apply and execute AMS and/or implementation methodologies and activities in Workday FINS/PSA engagements
- Collaborate with offshore/nearshore teams on day-to-day activities, incidents, root cause analysis, and work requests
- Collaborate with cross-functional operations and finance teams to gather requirements and translate into Workday Financial configurations
- Understand Workday Financials product releases and oversee system regression testing
- Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to create high business impact
- Contribute to operational efficiency of the Workday practice and drive continuous improvement
- Proactively identify and develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization and metrics for IT and business stakeholders
- Work with clients to identify and resolve issues that could impact project scope or timeframe
- Lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Must hold relevant Workday Financials and Professional Services Automation certifications (Partner certification mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Workday Financials and PSA functional roles, particularly in post-production/AMS environments
- Proven experience leading Workday Financials/PSA workstreams in a managed services or global delivery model
- Strong knowledge of Workday Financials modules including Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Professional Services Automation
- Solid understanding of SLA constructs and operational adherence
- Experience with Workday integrations and platform maintenance (reporting, business processes, security administration, data loads, and audits)
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions to improve system utilization
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Willingness to provide leadership, mentorship, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Workday practice
- Experience in post-production (AMS) and managed services construct
