Defining and implementing security models across Workday modules including Workday Financial Management, HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Adaptive Planning.
Performing hands-on configuration of Workday security settings, including security groups and user access management.
Collaborating with teams to define and refine access controls and user provisioning processes; organizing and conducting User Access Reviews twice a year.
Supporting reviews of the Workday security architecture and providing recommendations for improvement.
Ensuring Workday security aligns with compliance standards like SOX and GDPR; conducting audits and risk assessments.
Diagnosing and resolving security-related issues within the Workday system.
Keeping up-to-date with Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations and ensuring security aspects are considered.
Maintaining comprehensive documentation of security architecture, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience with Workday Security.
In-depth knowledge of Workday security frameworks, including domain and business process security policies, security groups, and user access management.
Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions, including intersection security, new security roles and other configurations within Workday.
Understanding of security control frameworks and threat modeling techniques.
Prior experience supporting SOX audits, UAR and GDPR initiatives.
Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues.
Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including HR, cybersecurity, and technology services.
