Define and implement security models across Workday modules including Financial Management, HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
Perform hands-on configuration of Workday security settings, including security groups and user access management.
Collaborate with teams to define and refine access controls and user provisioning processes; organize and conduct User Access Reviews (UAR) twice a year.
Support reviews of the Workday security architecture and provide recommendations for improvement.
Ensure Workday security aligns with compliance standards like SOX and GDPR, and conduct audits and risk assessments.
Diagnose and resolve security-related issues within the Workday system.
Keep up-to-date with Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring security aspects are considered.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of security architecture, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience with Workday Security.
In-depth knowledge of Workday security frameworks, including domain and business process security policies, security groups, and user access management.
Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions, including intersection security, new security roles and other configurations within Workday.
Understanding of security control frameworks and threat modeling techniques; prior experience supporting SOX audits, UAR and GDPR initiatives.
Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues.
Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including HR, cybersecurity, and technology services.
