About the role

  • Focus on optimal security design and configuration of the Workday Finance ERP and Workday HRIS platforms.
  • Design, implement, and maintain a secure Workday environment ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Define and implement security models across Workday modules including Financial Management, HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Adaptive Planning.
  • Perform hands-on configuration of Workday security settings, including security groups and user access management.
  • Collaborate with teams to define and refine access controls and user provisioning processes and organize/conduct User Access Reviews twice a year.
  • Support reviews of Workday security architecture and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure Workday security aligns with compliance standards like SOX and GDPR and conduct audits and risk assessments.
  • Diagnose and resolve security-related issues and keep up-to-date with Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of security architecture, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with Workday Security.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday security frameworks, including domain and business process security policies, security groups, and user access management.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions, including intersection security, new security roles and other configurations within Workday.
  • Understanding of security control frameworks and threat modeling techniques.
  • Prior experience supporting SOX audits, UAR and GDPR initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues.
  • Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including HR, cybersecurity, and technology services.
  • Workday HCM and/or Financials Certifications (preferred).
