About the role

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of approximately 6 employees
  • Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
  • Management of liquidity planning and cash management
  • Preparation of reporting and provision of decision-relevant management information
  • Further development of controlling processes, budgeting and investment planning (including DRG and KHG framework conditions)
  • Close collaboration with executive management, hospital management, the billing department and external auditors

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Business Administration or Economics, preferably with a focus on Controlling/Finance, or a comparable qualification as a finance and accounting specialist with professional experience
  • Experience in a hospital's finance or accounting department is desirable
  • Confident user of ERP systems and Excel
  • Knowledge of hospital law (e.g., KHEntgG, SGB V) is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, leadership ability, excellent communication skills and a strong team orientation
