About the role
- Join Engineering and Health & Safety team to reduce work-related risk to quality, productivity and employee health
- Manage and implement Cyber Security–specific controls within automotive manufacturing environments
- Communicate with stakeholders across organization providing insight and support into cyber security areas within manufacturing
- Implement and manage Manufacturing Cyber Security standards at assigned facility
- Work closely with all levels and groups within the plant to ensure Industrial Cyber Security standards are understood and followed
- Coordinate with counterparts at other facilities and corporate management to report status, share best practices and overcome challenges
- Provide occasional off-shift support to implement initiatives during non-production times
- Support multiple automotive manufacturing facilities in multiple areas
Requirements
- Degree or certification(s) in Information Technology/Cybersecurity related field
- Strong interest in developing ICS-specific Cyber Security skills
- 2+ years Manufacturing Plant Floor Experience with exposure to Industrial IT systems and controls
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Travel
- Ability to provide industrial cyber security support within manufacturing environments and coordinate initiatives
- Ability to recognize common needs and propose strategic solutions
- General understanding of vulnerability management, incident management, and common exploit methods
- Must work well in a team environment and be flexible to work on any aspect of the project
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with all plant levels
- Well rounded plant floor background with exposure to IT systems and plant floor controls
- Ability to work onsite full time supporting multiple automotive manufacturing facilities
