About the role

  • Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support enterprise reporting needs.
  • Extend and integrate Power BI reporting capabilities with system data models.
  • Perform updates to SCOR Java applications, including business logic and UI improvements.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for relational databases.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful web services on the Spring platform.
  • Perform unit testing using JUnit and maintain code coverage standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting across multiple environments.
  • Perform defect root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and testing procedures.
  • Provide on-call support when required and assist with application maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Services
  • 10+ years of experience with Power BI development and reporting.
  • 8+ years of experience writing SQL queries for relational databases.
  • 8+ years of experience developing RESTful web services using the Spring framework.
  • 8+ years of experience with JUnit and unit test development.
  • Strong experience with data modeling, report development, and analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting application enhancements, defect resolution, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and secure coding standards.
  • 4+ years of experience with Angular UI Framework (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience with Crystal Reports (preferred).
