About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the food tracker strategy within Samsung Health and maintain its roadmap.
  • Develop deep product-domain expertise to make sound product decisions quickly.
  • Use UX research, analytics, and customer insights to identify high-value user problems.
  • Drive weekly active user growth and monetization ideas through iterative development and testing.
  • Lead globally distributed, cross-functional teams through discovery, product definition, user testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Manage nutrition-related integrations into holistic internal services and create coherence across Samsung Health’s Nutrition pillar.
  • Maintain existing initiatives, stakeholder relationships, and in-flight decisions for a seamless transition to the permanent product manager.
  • Report to the Head of Whisk and collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, and research partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid product management experience, ideally in consumer apps.
  • Track record of shipping features that improved engagement or retention metrics at scale.
  • Genuine interest in nutrition, health, wellness, or behaviour change products.
  • Ability to work in cross-organizational, cross-time-zone environments.
  • Ability to build trust and alignment in an async-first environment.
  • Exceptional written communication and ability to create clarity from complexity.
  • Strong product judgment and ability to challenge features that do not provide a good user experience.
  • Availability and readiness to ramp quickly for the fixed 6-month contract window.
  • Intellectual curiosity about AI’s impact on product development, with judgment to override automated recommendations when appropriate.
  • Independent contractor responsible for own taxes and without paid time off.
