About the role
- Independently handle financial accounting for a branch (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, travel expenses)
- Execute payment transactions and bank postings
- Maintain and reconcile accounts
- Contribute to monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
- Support the preparation of tax returns and monthly VAT returns
- Participate in accounting and digitization projects
Requirements
- Completed commercial training with a focus on financial accounting or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in finance and accounting
- Good knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB
- Very good German language skills (C1–C2)
- Confident user of MS Office and common accounting software
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is an advantage
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Responsible, detail-oriented working style
