About the role

  • Provide Specialist Family Violence counselling services
  • Emphasis on safety and perpetrator accountability
  • Conduct MARAM risk assessments and safety planning
  • Provide advocacy and onward referrals for victims of family violence

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, welfare studies or related area
  • Demonstrated experience in working with women and children with complex needs
  • Comprehensive MARAM risk assessment and safety planning experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required
  • Understanding of gendered nature of family violence
  • Teamwork experience within integrated practice system
  • Experience with data and record keeping and IT systems
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License, Working with Children Check and clear National Policy History Check
