About the role

  • Provide high-level administrative support to a busy and dynamic team.
  • Cover leave for administration assistants based at the teams/programs within Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services.
  • Assist in clerical, secretarial and receptionist services to enable teams to provide courteous, efficient and clinically effective care for people with major mental illness and/or drug and alcohol issues.
  • Travel to different locations within the Geelong Region to provide administration cover when required.

Requirements

  • Provide clerical, secretarial and receptionist services to the Barwon Health Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services.
  • Entry of data, print and compile routine reports from relevant databases.
  • Make electronic calendar bookings for rooms, cars and equipment as requested.
  • Accurate labelling and scanning of client documentation into electronic systems.
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new staff, when required.
  • Promptly answer telephones and provide courteous response to all customers.
  • Courteous reception of people arriving for appointments.
