About the role
- Managing litigation cases from initiation to completion in state and federal courts and arbitration.
- Preparation and drafting of pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court filings.
- Arguing motions in court and making other court appearances.
- Interfacing and building relationships with clients.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Preparation for and participation in trials.
Requirements
- 3-8 years civil litigation experience required.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school (Top 50 preferred).
- Admission to the California State Bar.
