About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take technical ownership of projects within a team
- Align requirements with the client and develop elegant solutions
- Design and implement bespoke Salesforce solutions using B2B Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud / Lightning Flows, Visualforce, Apex and APIs
- Implement custom business logic using Apex classes that utilize SOQL and DML
- Handle trigger events using JavaScript libraries and custom remote actions
- Create dynamic views using Handlebars helpers and build subscriber pages, views, models and classes
- Troubleshoot and improve existing code
- Evolve Salesforce beyond its current applications by applying the latest technologies
- Support acquisition of new clients
- Contribute to securing follow-up projects with existing clients
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
- Serve as a point of contact and act solution-oriented when resolving pipeline issues across projects
- Maintain and develop pipelines, scripts and JSON files
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, common interfaces such as REST APIs, and relational databases
- Ability to write performant, secure and scalable code and adhere to best practices around MVC patterns
- You regard QA as part of development, provide meaningful unit tests, and ideally have initial experience with test automation
- An agile mindset, able to analyze requirements with the Product Owner end-to-end and break them down into small, value-adding increments
- A degree in (business) computer science or an equivalent qualification with professional experience
- Ideally: Salesforce certifications (Experience Cloud, B2C Commerce, Sales & Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud)
- Experience performing code reviews
- Familiarity with pipelines in conjunction with various Salesforce modules, including command functions and setup interactions
- Experience in team leadership and employee development
