Key responsibilities & impact

Manage packaging requests for baseline and non-baseline applications deployed on SOE platforms across unclassified and classified networks
Coordinate with application owners to build, test, perform user acceptance, and publish software packages via Intune, PAT, MCM, Software Center, or FTP
Perform application packaging scripting to meet department standards and customized installation requirements
Perform Windows 11 Operating System Deployment engineering, including WIM creation, task sequence creation, testing, and publishing
Provide lifecycle application support for security updates, including packaging, publishing, User Acceptance Testing, and Tier 3 software support
Support User Acceptance Testing and troubleshoot deployment issues
Create deployment scripts and maintain an application catalog
Create and maintain automated application deployment packages

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 9 years experience; master's degree and 7 years experience; experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Extensive hands-on experience creating silent installations for Adobe, AutoCAD, and Microsoft products
Extensive hands-on experience preparing and deploying Microsoft cumulative updates to endpoints via Intune
3–5 years of experience with Microsoft MCM
1–3 years of experience packaging applications for Windows 11 platforms
Experience in classified and/or unclassified government environments with more than 10,000 endpoints
Experience with PowerShell and VBScript scripting
Hands-on experience scripting silent installations for COTS/GOTS
Experience packaging applications with various licensing models
Experience working in team environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as an integral member of a project team
Experience with Intune Delivery Optimization, Microsoft Connected Cache (MCC), Windows Update for Business (WUfB), and enterprise content distribution
Experience developing enterprise reporting using SQL, PowerShell, and Microsoft management platforms
US citizenship
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
