About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with planning, development, and execution of Stage 4 and Stage 5 test procedures and testing for shipboard C5ISR systems
- Utilize specialized test equipment to complete C5ISR Stage 4 and Stage 5 testing
- Support multidisciplinary engineering activities including design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of C5ISR systems
- Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, AutoCAD, and PDF formats
- Prepare engineering documentation, reports, drawings, sketches, flow charts, diagrams, and schematics
Requirements
What you’ll need- AA degree in a related discipline and three or more years of relevant experience with one or more shipboard C5ISR systems, OR high school education and five years of related experience with relevant certification
- Must have an active Secret clearance on the first day of employment
- Familiarity with C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, block diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings
- Must have experience in at least one specified shipboard C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, or C6ISR system: Navigation Data Distribution System with Gyrocompass or Speed Log, Sonar Mission System, or Seawatch and Moriah
- Experience with MIL-STD-2106 development of shipboard industrial test procedures preferred
- Prior AutoCAD experience preferred
- Cybersecurity Workforce IA Level II Security+ certification, CSSIP, Network+, A+, or equivalent preferred
- Relevant shipboard systems experience may include radio communication racks, interior communications, shipboard CGOne/Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, surface search radar, navigation distribution systems, and integrated bridge systems
