Bachelor's degree and minimum five (5) years of experience as a System Engineer with technical or operational experience in the related field; additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Experience installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting operating systems
Linux/Unix development and interpretation of Linux/Unix scripts
High-level Linux/Unix command-line functionality and principles
Knowledge of software- and hardware-implemented RAID and supporting protocols
Experience developing and proofing technical documentation
Ability to travel up to 35%
Active Secret clearance
Must be able to report on-site when required
Desired: Major DOD Weapon System technical or engineering experience
Desired: Electronic Technician-level knowledge for industrial applications and point-to-point communication protocols
Desired: Knowledge of Python, Perl, other computer languages, and Regular Expressions
Desired: Ability to interpret USN C-Level Weapon System Specifications and develop and execute test plans
