About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the TACNET CB-ISEA Modernization Support Service Area
- Provide general administrative, clerical, and secretarial support for the project management team
- Take and distribute meeting minutes, order supplies, respond to customer, client, and team inquiries, and perform office administrative duties
- Format and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents
- Support project management and network engineering teams in preparing, updating, and distributing programmatic artifacts
- Interface with internal teams and external stakeholders to collect, update, and transfer artifacts
- Perform routine and non-routine tasks, including special projects
- Schedule and arrange meetings, research and secure information, and compile and proof deliverables
- Interface directly with Government Civilian and Active Duty Navy personnel
- Process visit requests, personnel travel, and expense reports
- Participate in continual improvement and provide input to standard operating procedures
- Have no direct reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- HS/GED and four (4) years’ experience, Associate degree and two (2) years’ experience, or Bachelor's degree and 0 years’ experience
- Must have Active Secret Clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Experience communicating and presenting to large customer groups and program leadership
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience building complex documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, and project files
- Demonstrated ability to think critically
- Experience with Travel & Expense software preferred
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing project demands and dependencies preferred
- Experience supporting PEO C4I & NAVWAR Enterprise Operations preferred; Navy Afloat systems such as CANES, ADNS, or ISNS are a plus
- Experience participating in strategic planning preferred
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and systems such as networks, routing/switching, servers, and virtualization is a plus
