About the role
- As a Senior Backend Developer at Safello, you will be a key contributor to our development team, building and scaling the APIs powering our mobile and web applications.
- You’ll write well-tested, high-performance code and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
- Reporting directly to the CTO, you will also guide architectural decisions that enhance the reliability and scalability of our backend systems.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, ideally with Java Spring Boot
- Skilled in SQL, AWS setup and cloud infrastructure
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines as a core part of your workflow
- Familiar with microservice infrastructure and design patterns
- Experienced in building high-transaction, high-availability systems
- Able to write clean, testable code and conduct effective code reviews
- Strong problem solver who can troubleshoot and optimize existing services
- Team-first mindset, excellent communication skills, and a drive to innovate.
