About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute regional or national field sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
- Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition across assigned territories.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform sales initiatives.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and quota attainment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Sales Managers and frontline sales representatives.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results.
- Implement talent development plans, succession planning, and performance management processes.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure sales performance and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Marketing to align on demand generation and campaign effectiveness.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, including 5+ years in sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed field sales teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
- Experience scaling sales teams in high-growth or transformation environments.
- Travel required: 25-40% travel.
