Clinical Mental Health Assessor
Safe Place CounselingClinical Mental Health Assessor providing behavioral health assessment services for children and families. Conducting evaluations, treatment planning, and collaborating with the clinical team in multiple settings.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide community-based behavioral health assessment services
- Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, and required screenings for children, adolescents, and families
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide services in a variety of settings, including the office, home, school, and other community locations
- Complete intake paperwork, biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and all required screenings
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and gather relevant clinical, family, educational, medical, and social history
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
- Attend and actively participate in required supervision sessions, clinical meetings, staff meetings, and trainings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Registered Associate or fully licensed clinician preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist)
- Must have an active Texas Licensure or be fully licensed
- Experience conducting mental health assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning at least 2 years
- Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention
- Comfortable with technology (Zoom, Electronic Medical Records, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred
