About the role
- Conduct individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions under supervision.
- Participate in client intake, assessment, and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and ethical standards.
- Attend and actively participate in supervision, staff meetings, and case consultations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support client treatment goals.
- Adhere to all confidentiality, ethical, and professional standards (HIPAA, NASW, ACA, etc.).
- Engage in ongoing learning, training, and reflection to enhance clinical skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to client care or professional development.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
- Approved by university or academic program to complete a practicum or internship placement.
- Demonstrated interest in providing mental health services and working with diverse populations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
