About the role
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team in the production and filing of EB and H-2B cases
- Oversee the full lifecycle of EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, NIW, and PERM labor certifications
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex legal issues
- Provide expert counsel on a wide range of matters, including various visa types
- Drive business development and networking to expand the firm’s footprint
- Draft and review high-level legal documents
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with a State Bar (Texas preferred)
- Several years of experience in employment-based immigration law
- Expertise in EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, NIW, and PERM is mandatory
- In-depth knowledge of H-2B petitions and Department of Labor (DOL) compliance
- Knowledge of deportation defense and asylum law (for W2 candidates)
- Exceptional analytical research skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
