About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and maintain department performance
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical support services
  • Coordinate technical support services related to power distribution network
  • Ensure compliance to authorization of electrical personnel
  • Prepare, review and approve procedure/work instruction
  • Coordinate resolution of reported electrical system problems
  • Direct study of collected data for any abnormality
  • Coordinate with external agencies for major maintenance or repair work
  • Lead reliability and integrity efforts
  • Produce timely reliability & other required reports
  • Assist department in preparation of annual maintenance budget
  • Ensure on-job-training of fresh technicians and engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • 5 Years of experience
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical procedures and work instruction
  • Understanding of environmental aspects, environmental regulations and legal requirements
  • Knowledge of environmental aspects & impacts - their identifications, monitoring & control
  • Good understanding of concepts of reliability and integrity
  • Conversant with relevant engineering standards
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Supervisory and man management skills
