About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Project coordination across all phases: design, procurement, construction, pre ‑ commissioning, and closeout
- Planning and control during development and execution to ensure progress, quality, and safety
- Leading project execution with strong focus on safety, quality, cost control, and scheduled performance
- Applying project controls and providing insights into performance across the project portfolio
- Stakeholder management through timely identification, alignment, and communication with all involved parties
- Supporting the Project Management Team with best practices, standards, and lessons learned for optimal execution
- Team leadership by motivating, guiding, and inspiring multidisciplinary teams
- Ensuring flawless start ‑ up through structured preparation and rigorous follow ‑ up during final project phases
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor or Master Degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent
- Project leadership/management experience, preferably supported by PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Familiarity with CAPEX/Investments
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial engineering experience in a demanding, detail ‑ driven, fast ‑ track project environment
- Strong problem ‑ solving mindset and the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and team ‑ building skills
- Ability to manage multiple parallel detail ‑ driven projects while maintaining quality and focus
- Influencing skills to guide and align stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority
- Strong conceptual, communication, and analytical abilities
