About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a technical reference for defining and evolving enterprise solution architectures, focusing on distributed and cloud environments
  • Define, document and evolve software and integration architectures, considering microservices, APIs, events, messaging and hybrid integrations
  • Design cloud-first and multicloud solutions, with emphasis on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, resilience, security and cost efficiency
  • Evaluate, select and recommend technologies, frameworks and architectural patterns appropriate to different business contexts
  • Connect applications, data, integrations, infrastructure and security into an end-to-end view
  • Define and disseminate guidelines, standards and architectural best practices for development teams
  • Support squads and technical teams in complex architectural decisions, acting as a mentor and technical facilitator
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, governance and data teams to ensure adherence to corporate directives
  • Lead proofs of concept (PoCs), technical analyses and market solution evaluations
  • Contribute to building and evolving the technology roadmap and enterprise architecture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Proven, solid experience as a solutions architect in complex, large-scale environments
  • Strong experience in cloud solutions architecture, particularly Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP and GraphQL
  • Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integration
  • Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architectures, such as Kafka and RabbitMQ or equivalents
  • Experience with application and API security, including OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect and TLS
  • Ability to act as a generalist with a systemic view and understanding of impacts across business, applications, data and infrastructure
  • Strong analytical skills, technical autonomy and decision-making ability
