About the role
- You will produce your own contributions as an author for the cross-media cultural programming department, with a focus on the music scene in the SaarLorLux region.
- This includes, among other things, reportages, conversations with colleagues, interviews for radio and television, texts, graphics and reels for online and social media.
- You will work as part of the editorial team and plan SR kultur's daily radio schedule.
- You will populate SR kultur's repertoire and use MusicMaster to schedule the daily program and special broadcasts.
- The list is illustrative; our tasks are diverse.
- We are in a constant process of change, which may also affect the future scope of responsibilities.
- We also work on weekends, public holidays and at early mornings and late evenings.
Requirements
- Completed traineeship (Volontariat), a comparable journalistic training programme, or equivalent practical qualification
- A completed university degree or several years of relevant professional experience
- Confident handling of current distribution channels (radio, television, online and social media) and their respective formats
- Good knowledge of the music scene in the SaarLorLux region, or willingness to undertake intensive familiarisation and active local networking
- Good knowledge of the genres dominant on SR kultur (non-mainstream pop, jazz, chanson, classical music and film music)
- Experience with system-supported music scheduling (MusicMaster) or willingness to learn
- Structured way of working, team spirit and the motivation to contribute your own topics and ideas
- Ideally, moderation/presentation experience on-air and off-air
