About the role
- Research and production/coverage of complex regional topics
- Developing expertise in local government and municipal political contexts
- Building a regional network of sources
- Occasional editorial duties
- Producing audio contributions in all formats (news bulletins as well as online texts, photos, videos and other social media content such as podcasts)
- Identifying and pitching original regional story ideas; developing dedicated topic focuses for audio, online and social media
Requirements
- Completion of a journalistic traineeship (Volontariat), equivalent journalistic training, or equivalent practical experience
- University degree preferred
- Experience handling complex, extensive investigations and working with particularly sensitive/protected sources
- Experience in investigative research strongly desired
- Knowledge of media and press law
- Strong sense for regional and current topics and enjoyment in independently proposing and developing them
- Initiative and journalistic ambition
- Good knowledge of the region
- Good on‑air/microphone voice
