About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintenance and administration of our ERP system
- Ongoing maintenance and further development of our technical infrastructure in collaboration with an external service provider
- Commissioning, configuration, setup and maintenance of server and client hardware, including documentation
- Installation and maintenance of standard and specialized software
- Participation in IT system administration and support, and management of network infrastructure
- End-user support / 1st-level support
- Problem analysis and independent development of efficient solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training in the IT field or an equivalent qualification
- Solid knowledge of server and network technologies
- Knowledge of firewalls, routers, switching, SAN, VPN, virtualization, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and administration of Windows-based servers
- Experience administering Windows and Linux server environments is an advantage
- Ability to learn quickly and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Valid driver's license (Class B)
- Willingness to travel occasionally between the Sassenberg and Saalfeld/Saale sites (approx. 5–10%)
