About the role
- Assist with the senior Naval Architect in the design, development and evaluation of the operation of marine vessels
- Assist with naval architecture analysis related to vessels
- Help with the stability analyses of ships
- Assist with the design complete hull and superstructure according to specifications and test data, in conformity with standards of safety, efficiency and economy
- Develop detail design/drafting in CAD format for vessel modifications, vessel repairs, outfitting and site plans
- Adhere to all company safety, environmental, quality assurance and security programs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Naval Architecture & Maritime Engineering from an accredited college or university
- 0-5 years of Naval Architect experience
