About the role

  • Edit cinematic brand films, campaign content, and storytelling pieces.
  • Cut UGC and social content fast, creating high converting, quality edits.
  • Build transitions, cuts, and sound cues that elevate emotion and engagement in every video.
  • Partner with design, marketing, and leadership to align visuals with Rythm’s brand tone.
  • Create and maintain video templates and edit workflows for speed and consistency.
  • Deliver projects across multiple formats and platforms with precision and consistency.

Requirements

  • Live and work in the U.S. and communicate clearly in English.
  • Can do this job without the support of AI.
  • Have a proven track record in cinematic storytelling, UGC editing, and branded video production.
  • Have a portfolio of work that you can share and describe in detail.
  • Obsess over transitions, color, pacing, and sound design.
  • Can toggle seamlessly between highly cinematic edits and fast-turn, social-native UGC content.
  • Have a strong sense of narrative flow, color, and tone.
  • Have experience editing for wellness, performance, or lifestyle brands (bonus if you live that lifestyle).
  • Move fast, give clear feedback, and can ship high-quality work without getting stuck in perfectionist wormholes.
  • Collaborate well with creative teams.
