About the role
- Work with our full-time UX Designer and UX Developer to direct discovery and design along best practices, and inject the process with new thinking so we can move away from traditional ways of experiencing software journeys and existing design thinking.
- Define and prototype user experiences for the “T2” platform: from early concept sketches to polished UX flows and interactive mockups.
- Translate complex AI and translation workflows into elegant, intuitive interactions for linguists, project managers, and enterprise users.
- Partner with Product and Data leads to validate hypotheses, run rapid user tests, and derive insights from real usage.
- Create and maintain a lightweight design system that supports fast iteration and consistent UI language.
- Champion simplicity and usability within a technically sophisticated environment which must deal with huge volumes of work while signposting users to where they can add value.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D to ensure prototypes are buildable and scalable.
- Quickly understand our users and the problems they will meet as our industry evolves, and devise new ways to engage.
Requirements
- 4+ years in UX/UI design for SaaS, productivity tools, or data-heavy products with humans in the loop.
- Proven strength in designing for complex systems, not just surfaces, and designing from ‘zero to one’ in a start-up or for a new product.
- Figma, FigJam, or similar tools fluency.
- Experience building design systems from scratch.
- Comfort working with ambiguity, iterating fast, and testing hypotheses in a lean cycle.
- Comfortable discussing with customers, internal SME, product managers, and engineering teams.
- (Bonus) Experience with language technology, AI tools, or enterprise workflow systems.
- (Bonus) Data-visualization or dashboard design skills.
