About the role
- Build core data systems and API
- Collaborate with product engineers to ship new features
- Increase team productivity by improving the development lifecycle
- Participate across the business (product, growth, recruiting, fundraising) as a startup team member
- Complete technical take-home assignment, on-site system design whiteboard, and paid trial run as part of hiring process
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience engineering data systems with technologies like Spark, Beam, or Flink
- Strong experience in relational database schema design
- Experience with cloud infrastructure DevOps
- Excellent communication ability
- Strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship
- Ability to move quickly and accurately under conditions of uncertainty without supervision
