About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration processes
Build and optimize solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
Develop and manage data models and large enterprise datasets
Create data processing, transformation, and delivery solutions for analytical consumption
Work on the implementation and evolution of ETL/ELT processes
Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and governance
Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize data processes
Support Analytics teams, Data Architecture, and business areas with reliable information
Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams in agile environments
Participate in continuous improvement, innovation, and evolution initiatives for the data platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Advanced knowledge of Google BigQuery, Google Dataflow, and Looker
Strong expertise in advanced SQL, data modeling, data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration/transformation
Experience building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines
Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance, data security, and modern data platforms
Experience working with agile methodologies
Advanced English for communication with international teams
Experience with Python or other languages used in data engineering is a plus
Knowledge of modern cloud data architectures is a plus
Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Big Data technologies is a plus
Google Cloud (GCP) certifications will be considered a plus
