About the role

  • This is a remote position
  • Mainframe Developer - Mid/Senior

Requirements

  • Knowledge of JCL, job flows (batch job streams) and COBOL
  • COBOL – development of batch and/or online programs (CICS)
  • JCL – creation and maintenance of jobs, procedures and automation scripts
  • VSAM – file handling (KSDS, ESDS, RRDS)
  • Navigation, operation and understanding of the IBM Mainframe environment
  • Knowledge of CICS for online application development
  • Knowledge of mainframe integration with REST APIs / distributed systems
