About the role

  • Work on SAP implementation projects (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
  • Perform installation, upgrades and refreshes of SAP environments.
  • Configure and administer SAP application servers (ABAP and Java).
  • Configure S/4HANA, SAP HANA database and related components.
  • Manage transports (STMS) and version control.
  • Work with client and system copies (homogeneous and heterogeneous).
  • Monitor system performance (SM50, ST22, ST03, DBACOCKPIT, etc.).
  • Perform system and database tuning.
  • Support integrations with legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams during go-live.
  • Ensure application of SAP Notes and Support Packages.
  • Maintain technical documentation for the environment.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as an SAP Basis consultant.
  • Proven experience in implementation projects (not just support/maintenance).
  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP HANA database.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience administering HANA databases.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) – desirable.
  • Experience with migrations to S/4HANA – desirable.
