About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and manage QA automation teams, fostering high performance and collaboration.
  • Guide the team in defining frameworks, test strategy, and resolving technical issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to align strategy and test deliverables.
  • Architect, implement, and evolve reusable automation frameworks for modular systems and microservices.
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and modern tools.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Ensure efficient coverage of UI, API, and database tests, validating both front-end and back-end.
  • Lead the adoption of automation with AI/LLMs, model testing, and intelligent test selection.
  • Optimize frameworks for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis, defect troubleshooting, and collaborate with development teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure secure coding best practices.
  • Evolve existing frameworks, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay up to date with trends, tools, and modern testing techniques, including automation with AI/ML.

Requirements

  • Experience in QA Automation, with 3+ years in a leadership role or frameworks engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Node.js, and hybrid frameworks.
  • Experience with AI/LLM model testing, prompt engineering, and GenAI observability.
  • Proficiency in languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and C#.
  • Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and GenAI for code generation and test optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native automation (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with modular and microservices architectures.
  • API testing (REST, GraphQL) and database validation (SQL).
  • Experience with code review.
  • Knowledge of SAFe and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure management (VMSS, cloud services, distributed environments).
  • Use of IDEs (VS Code, Visual Studio), version control (Git, Bitbucket), and test management tools (Azure DevOps).
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor QA teams.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with process improvement, documentation, and reporting.
