About the role

  • Review tickets for inconsistencies prior to ERV calls
  • Validate ticket information in the Activities tab, also known as the validation block
  • Schedule ERV calls
  • Work closely with the Risk Manager to understand questionable items and the appropriate approach to ticket reviews
  • Research previous tickets, including upstream and downstream relationships, as well as tickets from other firms and their outcomes; discuss any inconsistencies with the Risk Manager
  • Maintain and monitor a dashboard showing the status of tickets for which you are responsible
  • Monitor the Activities tab for client communications
  • Review and address outstanding items and responses in a timely manner, in accordance with defined SLOs
  • Participate in team meetings and ideation exercises
  • Communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Review CRS- and SRT-related tasks and update record documentation as needed
  • Track ticket progress through the Issue Management stage and coordinate integration with NIS support teams such as Global Workspace, Microsoft 365 (M365), Third Party Risk Management, Splunk, Business Continuity, Mobile Application Management, and BISO/CISO teams

Requirements

  • Experience in customer-facing roles with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Experience in organization and time management to support multiple concurrent reviews
  • Self-awareness
  • Fast learner with the ability to apply training and guidance in practice
  • Experience asking probing questions to deepen understanding of processes, the business, and solutions
  • Knowledge of Information Security Policies, the Application Readiness Standard, and applicable support standards
  • Understanding of the purpose of the Application Readiness process
  • Ability to interact with clients and ensure they clearly understand required actions
  • Ability to assess whether a control is "met" or "not met" (objective assessment)
  • Skill in analytically reviewing documentation and evaluating control compliance based on the information and evidence provided
  • Ability to assess complex data and determine whether it can be used to support ongoing reviews
  • Ability to extract facts and evidence related to controls from various types of submitted documentation and diagrams
  • Interface with clients to: clarify questions, request responses for outstanding items, provide guidance on next steps, and schedule meetings
  • Interface with AR Risk Managers and AppSec Architects to: provide status updates and flag alerts or concerns related to Information Security risks
  • Document all activities in the Application Readiness ticket within ServiceNow (SNow).
