About the role
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects within the Application Security team, ensuring objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
- Track initiatives and perform follow-up on activities to maintain project momentum and progress.
- Interact with the extended Application Security team and stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and establish objectives.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders, promoting a collaborative environment.
- Lead decision-making processes, aligning efforts and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Provide clear and concise updates on project status, including executive summaries for different audiences.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and established best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in: Information Security
- Application Security
- Technology / IT
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, controlling scope, schedule, and budget
- Experience in project risk management, including identification, analysis and definition of mitigation plans
- Experience in requirements gathering, scope definition and setting objectives with stakeholders
- Ability to track initiatives, tasks and dependencies, ensuring continuous progress
- Ability to produce status reports, dashboards and executive summaries for different levels (technical and executive)
- Experience with project management tools, especially: Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools
- Ability to facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Knowledge of the Application Security context (processes, risks, controls)
- Ability to drive decision-making processes and unblock impediments
- Experience in Application Security (AppSec) environments – technical plus (desirable)
- Experience with governance of security services
- Familiarity with security service metrics, SLAs and KPIs.
