About the role

  • Troubleshoot issues related to large-scale cloud infrastructure management
  • Develop scripts and collaborate with application teams for troubleshooting
  • Execute and support cloud deployments
  • Create and maintain automations
  • Support project teams with infrastructure requirements for critical applications
  • Work with PaaS and IaaS environments
  • Operate in a 24x7x365 support environment, meeting defined SLAs
  • Ensure adherence to change management processes, standards, and documentation
  • Collect operational data and produce reports
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of hosted information
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions
  • Primarily work with Microsoft Azure, with exposure to AWS and Google Cloud Platform
  • Drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of cloud services

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in a corporate/enterprise environment (minimum 2–3 years)
  • Practical experience in enterprise cloud environments
  • Knowledge of PaaS and IaaS on Azure
  • Scripting/development skills: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript (desirable)
  • Experience in DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Experience with cloud hosting services: PaaS/IaaS servers, storage, and monitoring tools
  • Development of CI/CD pipelines and consumption of custom APIs
  • Knowledge of networking (desirable)
  • Experience with containerization and Kubernetes (desirable)
  • Knowledge of security and compliance, including cloud security best practices, experience with SOC 2 and/or ISO 27001, and prior experience at Big Four firms
