About the role

  • Owning the Blog: Architecting, launching, and managing the blog to serve as our primary organic growth engine.
  • Driving Organic SEO & Trust: Writing compelling, high-ranking, long-form content that educates searchers and clearly demonstrates the ongoing value of our 5 search funnels.
  • Combating Churn: Creating strategic, reputation-building narratives that counteract the friction of our fast-paced acquisition funnels, turning quick conversions into long-term, retained subscribers.
  • Global Localization: Collaborating with our teams to ensure your core messaging translates and performs effectively across our highly profitable international markets (EU, UK, US).
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Dedicating a percentage of your time to act as a strategic copy resource for Product and Marketing—refining UX/UI copy, lifecycle emails, and high-converting ad creatives.

Requirements

  • Senior-Level Autonomy: You don't need hand-holding. You thrive in a fast-paced, 20+ person agile startup where you are trusted to figure things out and execute rapidly.
  • Exceptional Storytelling: You know how to write copy that is authoritative yet accessible, easily explaining complex OSINT concepts (like Phone and VIN reverse lookups) to everyday consumers.
  • Growth & SEO Mindset: You understand how to write for humans first, but optimize for search engines, bridging the gap between creative copywriting and organic acquisition.
  • Strategic Empathy: You understand the balance between aggressive growth marketing and the need for empathetic, brand-building content that reduces subscriber churn.
  • OKR-Driven Mentality: You are highly motivated by performance metrics, comfortable working in parallel across multiple initiatives, and eager to hit commonly agreed targets.
