About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide a variety of financial consulting services to clients
- Technical Accounting and Accounting Support to business operations
- Business process improvement and internal controls assessments
- Advisory projects including organizational structure analysis and profitability analysis studies
- Provide timely, high quality client service including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan
- Develop an understanding of the client's business and industry
- Actively participate with engagement team and function as an in-charge and go-live lead
- Identify performance improvement opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- A BS/BA in Accounting
- Minimum of 2+ years business experience or 2+ years in public accounting/consulting services (emphasis in the casino and hospitality accounting or operations a plus)
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong internal control skills and experience in developing and improving internal control systems
- Strong technical and functional accounting experience in US GAAP and/or IFRS for public or private companies
- Proven ability to manage staff on projects of varying sizes
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Ability to travel approximately 75-80%.
