About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Developing and taking ownership of backend services using Java or Kotlin, from architecture design through deployment
- Designing and implementing scalable microservices based on Spring Boot
- Making technical decisions and contributing to backend architecture
- Designing and implementing workflow and process automation solutions using Camunda BPMN
- Modeling and optimizing relational database structures (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of professional experience in backend development with Java or Kotlin
- Strong practical knowledge of Spring Boot framework
- Hands-on experience with Camunda BPMN and process automation
- Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL), including query optimization
- Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Good command of English (German is a plus)
